Before the Temple Can Rise

Zechariah 3 is not a thin allegory or an end-times puzzle. Set in fragile post-exilic Yehud, it shows that before the temple can rise, the priest must stand cleansed. Only then does the vision widen toward the Branch, guilt removed in one day, and a fuller peace the remnant never fully reached.
